Welcome Vanessa Estrada
Fr. Scott McCue is pleased to announce the appointment of Vanessa Estrada to the position of Executive Assistant to the Pastor effective March 10, 2026. Vanessa will be working alongside Teresa Heath, current Executive Assistant to the Pastor, for the remainder of March prior to her retirement.
Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Meredith College. She has worked as an Immigration Legal Assistant for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh and as a Tax Analyst for Avalara in Durham.
Vanessa will manage Fr. Scott’s day to day schedule, assisting him in his role as Pastor of St. Michael and Dean of the Raleigh Deanery. Vanessa is also responsible for the scheduling of all priests and deacons for liturgical celebrations. Vanessa will work closely with the Operations and Pastoral Care Departments in her role.
Vanessa is a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh where she serves as a Choir Director and a Violinist. Vanessa is fluent in English and Spanish.

P. Scott McCue se complace en anunciar el nombramiento de Vanessa Estrada al puesto de Asistente Ejecutiva del Párroco, efectivo el 10 de Marzo de 2026. Vanessa trabajará junto a Teresa Heath, actual Asistente Ejecutiva del Párroco, durante el resto del mes de marzo antes de su jubilación.
Vanessa cuenta con una licenciatura en Contabilidad (Bachelor of Science in Accounting) de Meredith College. Ha trabajado como Asistente Legal de Inmigración para Caridades Católicas de la Diócesis de Raleigh y como Analista de Impuestos para Avalara en Durham.
Vanessa administrará la agenda diaria del P. Scott, apoyándolo en su labor como Párroco de St. Michael y Decano del Decanato de Raleigh. También será responsable de la programación de todos los sacerdotes y diáconos para las celebraciones litúrgicas. En su función, Vanessa trabajará muy de cerca con los Departamentos de Operaciones y Cuidado Pastoral.
Vanessa es feligresa de la Catedral Holy Name of Jesus en Raleigh, donde sirve como Directora del Coro y violinista. Vanessa habla con fluidez inglés y español.
