Hi, my name is Susana Contreras-Blanco, and I am honored to join the St. Michael family as the Faith Formation Administrative Coordinator. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from East Carolina University, and I bring professional experience in organizational support, training, and process improvement from my work as an Insurance Pre-Authorizations Specialist.

Since 2019, I have been actively involved at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Tarboro, serving as a catechist, choir director, and parish council member. I currently serve as a Life Teen Core Member, focusing on building faith and community, especially within the Hispanic community. I am passionate about faith formation and creating a welcoming environment where families and youth can grow in their relationship with Christ. I am fluent in both Spanish and English.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to the Holy Land in 2019, which deepened my faith and love for the history of the early Church, and I most recently participated in the Jubilee of Youth in August 2025. Outside of ministry, I enjoy exploring new cuisines, cooking, singing, and I’m currently learning to play the keyboard.
