My name is Shannon Coltrain. I am the HR Payroll & Benefits Coordinator here at St. Michael. I am part of the Finance team. My main responsibilities include processing payroll for all of our employees and onboarding new faculty and staff members. I truly enjoy being part of a team with a common goal—to further the ministry of St. Michael and continue spreading God’s word in the community.

I am originally from Upstate New York and earned my undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from SUNY Geneseo. I later completed my Master’s in Accounting through the MAC program at NC State.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our four children. We’re huge NC State and Carolina Hurricanes fans, so we go to games as often as we can. I’m also a proud Buffalo Bills fan! One of my favorite hymns is “On Eagle’s Wings”—a beautiful reminder of God’s strength and presence in our lives.
