Middle School Youth Ministry

St. Michael FF families,
In a preventative measure, St. Michael Faith Formation will be suspending classes until further notice.
In order to continue the formation of our students, we will be sending home information for online and at -home learning. Please check your email and Realm account for messages on instructions for your students’ specific class.
Please see the St. Michael website for mass information.
We thank you for your cooperation and understanding and please continue to pray for all of those affected and working to treat those affected by this virus.

Special Needs

All children deserve an opportunity to discover our faith and build a relationship with God.  Faith Buddies will be assigned to those in need.  If you wish to request a Faith Buddy, please send an email to [email protected]

The National Catholic Partnership on Disability has a series of YouTube videos on Understanding Autism.  This is a great resource for parents and catechists working to do the best for children in their care who have been diagnosed with Autism.  We also want our St. Michael the Archangel parish congregation to be more conscious of, and be more welcoming to, those with disabilities in their midst.

Autism Awareness:  A person with Autism has a medical condition that may impair his or her ability to communicate with others.  A person with Autism may have behaviors that appear to be unpredictable or inappropriate.  On the surface, it may appear that this person is misbehaving when, in reality, it is his or her own way of dealing with the world.
