Hi, my name is Mary DiSano. I’ve been on the staff here at St. Michael’s since 2013, and have been a member of the parish since 1993. In my current role on staff, I assist with preparation for Baptism, Sacramental Marriage, and offer guidance to adults wishing to become Catholic through RCIA. I’m also responsible for the recording of sacraments that take place here, and I can assist when someone needs a copy of a past sacramental record.
Prior to joining the staff of St. Michael’s, I served on staff at the Diocese of Raleigh, primarily working in Marriage Preparation ministry. I have a BA from Belmont Abbey college where I studied Theology and Psychology and embrace the Benedictine value of "Love of Christ and Neighbor."
St. Michael’s has been the church home of my family for decades. My husband Keith and I raised our two grown daughters here and treasure the friendships that we have made in this community.
One thing I love about my role on staff is that often I get to work with the entire family, helping them to receive sacraments and engage more fully in our faith community.
