Hello! My name is Diane Williams, and I am the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Music and Liturgy. I assist our director with coordinating the choirs, making sure they are prepared and organized. I also help manage the liturgical volunteers that generously give of their time and talents to assist our priests at Mass. A large part of my job is also providing guidance to our parish families who are coping with the loss of a loved one by helping them with funeral arrangements.
My husband and I joined St. Michael’s when we moved to Cary from Wisconsin in July of 2000. After participating in a St. Michael’s theater production, I joined the choir. We have also been active members of the Knights of Columbus. We have raised our two boys here in Cary and at St. Michael’s. Watching them pursue their careers now as adults (Josh working with computer systems and Ross in the seminary) is a joyful part of my life. My husband and I also love to read, hike, and travel to new places.
I have always felt that St. Michael's is a big church and you might feel lost in its size. Joining a ministry made it a bit smaller, and I felt more connected. Joining the staff has made it home.
