So much more than a rite of passage - Confirmation is your opportunity to accept your faith as your own. The gifts of the Holy Spirit that you receive in this sacrament aren't just a one-time thing. It marks the beginning of your life as an adult disciple of Christ, giving you the tools you need to go out into the world as a Christian adult by loving others, serving your community, and sharing the Gospel by your words and actions.

DIOCESE OF RALEIGH CONFIRMATION REQUIREMENTS

Confirmation preparation in the Diocese of Raleigh is a 2-year process.  Youth at St. Michael are eligible to begin preparation in 9th grade and will receive the Sacrament in the spring of their 10th grade year. Youth may begin the process any time after 8th grade. These changes are in accordance with the recommendation of our Bishop.
