Confirmation Preparation

St. Michael FF families,

In a preventative measure, St. Michael Faith Formation will be suspending classes until further notice.
In order to continue the formation of our students, we will be sending home information for online and at -home learning. Please check your email, see below or check out our Social Media on instructions for your students’ specific class.

Please see the St. Michael website for mass information.
We thank you for your cooperation and understanding and please continue to pray for all of those affected and working to treat those affected by this virus.

Completion of Confirmation Prep for 2020 Candidates

For our students who need to complete the Apologetics credit for Confirmation Preparation for 2020, below are the instructions and links.
The assignment is to listen to the assigned "Ask Father Josh" podcast episodes and answer the questions for each.  Each episode focuses on a teaching pertaining to Mary (the only topic of the Confirmation questions not yet covered).  The Saturday class has an additional episode  (since Sunday classes already completed one class) focusing on the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

The questions can be submitted as a Google Form. If students do not have access to Google Forms, please check you email or Realm Group for the Word Document. It can then be completed and emailed to [email protected]

Saturday AND Sunday classes must complete the following:

Additional Saturday class episode:

Ask Father Josh is an excellent podcast and is also available free on Spotify.  I would encourage you to listen to additional episodes and tune in weekly.  If you have any questions regarding these assignments, please ontact me at [email protected]

Regarding the Sacrament of Confirmation, we have not received any word other than all Confirmation masses are currently suspended.  As soon as I hear difinitively about St. Michael's masses, I will let you know.  If you have sponsors that are travelling, I encourage you to fill out the proxy section of the Sponsor Form, just in case.  If you are doing that, you will only need to fill out the proxy section and we will attach it to the original document.
