What is Walking with Moms in Need?
Walking with Moms in Need (WWMIN) is a St. Michael Respect Life outreach and a nationwide, parish-based initiative that empowers Catholic communities to better support pregnant and parenting mothers facing difficult circumstances.
Rooted in the Church’s commitment to the dignity of every human life, WWMIN ensures that any woman who finds herself unexpectedly pregnant—or parenting in tough situations—can turn to her parish for compassion, resources, and friendship.
Volunteers walk with moms throughout their motherhood journey, offering ongoing emotional, spiritual, and practical support.
This Training Will Help You:
– Understand the mission and vision of the ministry
– Learn how to access your parish’s local resource inventory
– Gain tools for accompanying mothers with compassion
– Hear from others who have successfully implemented the ministry
