Habitat for Humanity May 1-3

For nearly 30 years, St. Michael has been supporting Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. The Habitat for Humanity Ministry is excited to announce that in the upcoming months, we will be collaborating with Mother Teresa Catholic Church and a coalition of other churches to build new homes, making the dream of affordable housing possible for many families. This year, the coalition will build nine townhomes in a community at 925 Ridge Rock Road, Raleigh, NC.

This year, we have been assigned two build weekends. St. Michael and Mother Teresa hope to provide 55 workers over a 3-day period each build weekend (15 workers each Thursday and Friday, and 25 on Saturday). Build days are approximately 6-8 hours in length. Volunteers must be able to take on physical labor outdoors.

If you are unable to help with the actual build, there is an opportunity to provide lunch for those working. Please prayerfully consider working on this important project—whether by helping with the build or providing meals (kids and families are welcome to participate in meal donations).
