Lent 2021

Lent is all about entering into the desert with Jesus for 40 days, but for most of us, the past 365 days have felt like one long Lenten season. In fact, it was during Lent last year that all of this began, and now here we are, a year later. What have we learned as we've wandered through this extremely long desert?

This Lent, we invite you, not to resist, but to embrace the desert - to walk alongside Jesus in complete surrender and allow ourselves to look back and forward. How will we be different when we reach the other side of our current desert? Will we run to the safety of our old normality, or will we allow Christ to mold us, making all things new again?

33 Days to Morning Glory - Parishwide Consecration to Mary

February 17-March 25

More information on the consecration, including small group meetings, can be found here.

Stations of the Cross

Every Friday
English: 7 pm | Spanish: 8 pm

Join us every Friday in Lent for the praying of the Stations of the Cross in the church. This beautiful prayer allows us to walk through the events leading up to Jesus' death, drawing our minds and hearts to the ultimate sacrifice He made for our salvation.

If you've never prayed the Stations of the Cross before, this Lent is a perfect time to begin! Here's a beautiful reflection on how to enter into this prayer and a helpful guide if it's your first time attending.

Please remember to wear a mask and socially distance from others in attendance.

You can also join us via Livestream here.

Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confessions)

Tuesdays 5:45-6:45 pm
Fridays 7-8 pm
Saturdays 2-4 pm

In order to encourage reception of the sacrament, we will be offering additional opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) throughout the Lenten season. Priests will be available for confessions in the parlor, cry room, and chapel during the times listed above.

We encourage you to take advantage of this beautiful sacrament of mercy and forgiveness during the season of Lent. If it's been a while, you are welcomed even more! The priest is happy to help walk you through the prayers and offer encouragement on your faith journey.

Here is a priest's perspective on the Sacrament of Reconciliation:

You're also encouraged to make an examination of conscience prior to attending the sacrament. You can find a great outline of an examination here.

Tuesdays 9 am-6:45 pm
Fridays 9 am-6 pm

During the season of Lent, we'll be offering additional opportunities to adore our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament through Adoration. Come spend some quiet time with Jesus and journey through the desert with Him.

Not sure what to do during Adoration? Here are 48 ideas.
