Opportunities for Confession and Adoration, in addition to weekly Mass attendance, are beautiful opportunities for our students to celebrate their Catholic faith. These opportunities are included in the Sunday 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm schedule and are offered at various times throughout the year. The list of dates below will be updated periodically.
St. Michael offers many service opportunities to students, including large and small group activities. The best way to be aware of these opportunities is to follow us on Facebook.
Upcoming Service Opportunity:
Below aree the links to sign up for the upcoming Thanksgiving Basket event Nov. 14-22. Please know these sign ups were created specifically for the Confirmation Preparation students and families. They are not open to the general public/parish because of the limited number of opportunities to serve. PLEASE READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE REGISTERING.
Confirmation Class Volunteers
Please READ the description below, review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up.
There is a maximum of 2 shifts per person, so that everyone has an opportunity to volunteer. If not enough people sign up, we will open the shifts up.
You will be required to maintain social distancing and wear a mask at all times.
Event 11/14 - 11/15: There will be a box and card decorating area outside - behind the church in the courtyard, under a tent. We will need two (2) people per shift to make sure families maintain social distancing, and to sanitize the tables and markers in between groups.
Event 11/19: We will be setting up tables in the Parish Center and moving furniture around. Possibly carrying food in from the Pod Unit in the Parking lot to the Parish Center.
Event 11/20 - 11/22: We will be stocking food onto tables, bringing trash and recycling to the outside bins, sanitizing, taping boxes, filling boxes, and distributing boxes. Must be able to lift and carry around 30 pounds. We will have carts, but you will need to lift boxes onto tables or into trunks of cars.
There may be additions as needed so keep checking back!
