Sacrament of Baptism:

Congratulations! We are excited about celebrating the Sacrament of Baptism for your child.

1. To have your child baptized here you must attend a Baptismal Preparation Class. These classes are held in the Pastoral Center January through November at 7:30pm on the 2nd Monday of each month.
2. To register for this required class, please contact Leslie Malinowski at (919) 468-6103 or email lmalinowski@@stmichaelcary.org
3. For Hispanic Baptismal Preparation, please call Lilian at 468-6173 in the Parish Office.
4. You must attend this required class before you can schedule a baptism.
5. To schedule the Baptism please email Leslie Malinowski at lmalinowski@stmichaelcary.org or call (919)468-6103.
6. Godparents must be at least 16 years old. One Godparent is required to be a Confirmed Catholic having a letter from their Pastor stating they are "in good standing".
7. If you are planning on having your child baptized in another Catholic Church you will need to obtain a letter stating you are "in good standing". To obtain this letter please contact Leslie Malinowski at lmalinowski@stmichaelcary.org or call(919) 468-6103.

Congratulations on your engagement! We are looking forward to assisting you in preparing for your marriage. The steps below will help you secure information for planning your wedding.

1. To be married at St. Michael the Archangel, or if you are doing your wedding preparation here and having your wedding in another location, you must start the Wedding preparation process at least 6 to 9 months prior to your wedding date.
2. Preparation begins by contacting Leslie Malinowski at 468-6103 or lmalinowski@stmichaelcary.org
3. For weddings at St. Michael, you will attend a Wedding Information Class. Leslie will provide this information of time an place of this class. We encourage both the bride and groom to attend this class, but we understand with work schedules and travel, that this may not be possible.
4. To check on the availability of possible wedding dates, please email Norma Powers at npowers@stmichaelcary.org or call (919) 468-6102. No dates can be booked without beginning the process with Leslie as mentioned above.
5. For weddings in Spanish, contact Lilian at 468-6173 or llopez@stmichaelcary.org
6. If either of you have been previously married, even if it was a civil ceremony, please call the Tribunal Office at the Diocese of Raleigh at 821-9700 to receive information on your status to marry.
7. Once you have attended the Wedding Information Class, and your wedding approved, you will be assigned a Priest or a Deacon who will schedule a pre-marriage interview to begin your wedding preparation.

Sacrament of Anointing:

You are encouraged to receive the Sacrament of the Sick if you are seriously ill, anticipating surgery or weakened because of prolonged illness or advanced age. If you are able to attend mass, please see one of the priests on Monday through Friday, before or after Morning Mass at 8:30am in the Marian Chapel.

For non-emergency visits to hospitals, care centers or for homebound Catholics, contact the Pastoral Care Desk at pastoralcare@stmichaelcary.org or (919) 468-6142.
