If you have lost a job, anticipate being let go, or are just considering a change, you are invited to attend the St. Michael's Career Transition Group.
Meetings are held at the Archangel Centre and Gallery. 830 High House Rd.
The purpose of this ministry:
- Support each other through the job seeking process
- Provide informal education on how to look for a job
- Share ideas, network contacts, and resources
- Providing honest feedback to each other to improve our resumes and interview skills
- Hold each other accountable to our commitments
- Motivate and help maintain a positive attitude
Our Meeting Format:
- Introductions (30 Second Infomercial)
- Individual "Go-Rounds" to share
- What went well over the past week
- Where people encountered difficulties
- News concerning companies hiring in the area
- Upcomiung networking events and job fairs
- Educational topic when available (often a guest speaker)
