Ministry Description:

The EDGE program is designed to promote Catholic education and fellowship to 7th and 8th grade middle schoolers. Most young teenagers have gone through CCD classes during their elementary school years. However, as today's teens become middle schoolers, they are truly caught "between times" - right between elementary education and high school. Besides teaching Catholic catechism in an age-appropriate method, the EDGE program promotes positive morality and fellowship among other young Catholics in our parish.

What this ministry can do for you:

The EDGE program meets Monday nights at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center. During EDGE nights we will alternate between educational, issue, and social programs. Educational nights will include bible study, issue nights will cover issues such as alcohol use, and social nights are opportunities for the youth participants to get to know each other as a community within the St. Michael parish.

Membership Profile:

Age Group: 7th and 8th graders

Restrictions:   none.
